Chris’ Hunting Philosophy

Hunt Philosophy – Each hunt requires a different skill set. Elk hunting we can potentially set up a spike camp.

Elk:
Elk hunting is mainly run and gun. I love to call in Elk but will do whatever is necessary at the moment. I do not particularly like sitting water unless it is a slam dunk opportunity.

Mule Deer:
Mule Deer hunting is generally spot and stalk. Lots of time spent behind the glass until we see an animal we are willing to pursue.

Barbary Sheep:
Barbary Sheep hunting is generally spot and stalk. Lots of time spent behind the glass until we see an animal we are willing to pursue.

Oryx:
Oryx hunting is generally spot and stalk. Lots of time spent behind the glass until we see an animal we are willing to pursue.

Antelope:
Antelope hunting is generally spot and stalk. Lots of time spent behind the glass until we see an animal we are willing to pursue.

Ibex:
Ibex hunting is generally spot and stalk. Lots of time spent behind the glass until we see an animal we are willing to pursue.

At 25 years of age, I  have been a licensed Hunting Guide for the last 5 years. In addition to guiding, I also have my Bachelors in Biology from the University of New Mexico. I’ve been hunting since my father introduced me to the outdoors at a young age. I spend many days in the field, from shed hunting, to summer scouting, to the actual hunts, come hunting season. I guide each hunt as if it was my own tag and exert unprecedented amounts of energy until our goal is achieved.
