I have been a full time, licensed hunting guide in Arizona for 25+ years. Arizona Unit 1 is my backyard. I’ve hunted this unit all my life and know it extremely well. This unit is home to some big elk and I’d like to guide you on your hunt. I personally guided a successful hunt for a 463 7/8″ mature non-typical bull elk from this very unit (See first image in my gallery). I personally hunt only archery, however I guide archery, muzzleloader, and rifle. I’m very proud to have achieved 100% opportunity for my clients.

My main goal for every client is to do whatever takes to be successful. Unit 1 is not a physicall demanding unit, however I prefer working with hunters that are in excellent physical shape. Patience on a hunt is very important. If you are looking for a big bull, shooting the first bull you see is not the answer. Patience, time, and perserverance always pay off for me. First and foremost I’m an archer, so if we hunt together I expect my hunters to be proficient with their bow out to 80 yards. If you are proficient at 80 then you are deadly at 50 yards when the adrenaline starts pumping. In the end, I work hard and do whatever it takes to help put my hunters in the best position to achieve a dream hunt.  We’ll work hard and it will be 100% worth the effort.
